When you embark on this tour, you will be walking along a gravel path that winds between rocks and heather banks. There is no need to rush here: if the sheep decide to stop and enjoy the fresh herbs or just rest, you will have to do the same. This approach allows you to fully enjoy the surrounding nature, relax and absorb the peaceful atmosphere of this magical corner of Ireland.

Throughout the walk you will follow a path that runs along the shores of Lough Tolt, famous for its Arctic char populations. In this picturesque area, your every move will be accompanied by the sounds of nature: the rustling of leaves, the murmur of water and, of course, the peaceful bleating of sheep. The evergreen hills and refreshing landscapes create a unique atmosphere that can mesmerize any traveler.

Each walk includes between 4 and 8 sheep, which means you'll have to choose your companion. Children over 8 years old can become co-managers of the sheep, but must be accompanied by an adult on a double leash. From the age of 12, children can walk a sheep on their own, but even in this case they must be supervised by an adult. Please note that dogs are not allowed on the trail to avoid disturbing the animals and disturbing the tranquility of nature.
